Your catalog holds every product, its variants, prices, availability, and attributes. A product feed is a structured copy of it sent to a channel; structured data is the catalog expressed on your web pages.
What this means for your store
An agent's picture of your store is only as complete as your catalog. Gaps in the catalog (missing categories, identifiers, or attributes) become gaps in every AI channel that reads from it.
