AI product recommendations are the specific products an AI assistant suggests in answer to a shopping question. They are the output of retrieval, comparison, and the assistant's judgment about what it can trust.

A recommendation is the prize at the end of the whole process: your product had to be retrieved, survive the comparison on its data, and be trustworthy enough to stand behind. If you are not being recommended, the fix is almost always upstream, at retrieval or completeness, not the recommendation itself.
